  3. Program description:

  5. FTPMap 97 makes it easy to transfer files to your FTP account. 
  6. FTPMap 97 places itself as an icon on your desktop. Use
  7. Drag and drop to transfer files to the default FTP server 
  8. as set in the setup. FTP Map will connect and tranfer files,
  9. directories and subdirectories instantly as your drop them. 
  10. After the successful transfer FTP Map automatically disconnects
  11. from the FTP server and shuts down.

  13. Transfering your homepages couldn't be easier than with 
  14. FTPMap 97. If you have a homepage of your own, or 
  15. constantly need to update files, then FTPMap 97 is 
  16. what you need.

  19. Installing FTPMap 97: 
  20.  
  21. If your FTPMap 97 distribution is still archived then
  22.  
  23. 1) Unpack it using a zip archiver. 
  24.  
  25. 2) Run the executable SETUP.EXE and follow the on-screen 
  26.    directions.
  27.  
  28. 3) Start FTPMap 97 by doubleclicking it's icon on your desktop.

  30. 4) Setup your ftp account information.

  34. Using FTPMap 97 with drag and drop: 
  35.  
  36. FTPMap 97 uses the last used profile name when transfering files.
  37.  
  38. Simply drag and drop files and/or directories on the FTPMap 97 icon. 
  39. FPTMap 97 will transfer directories and subdirectories if you 
  40. set it to in the setup. Use any file manager such as the explorer
  41. to drag and drop the files of your choice to the FTPMap 97 icon.

  43. Using FTPMap 97 with command-line options:
  44.  
  45. FTPMap 97 can also be used with command-line options. Specify
  46. the files and/or directories you wish to transfer on the command-line.
  47. Items should be separated with a space.

  49. For example:
  50. FTPMAP97.EXE C:\WINDOWS C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
  51.  
  52. The above example will, if include directories is enabled, transfer
  53. your C:\WINDOWS directory and, if include subdirectories is enabled,
  54. transfer all the subdirectories. FTPMap 97 will also transfer your 
  55. C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT to the default (last used) FTP server.

  59. Legal stuff:

  61. FTPMap 97 is inexpensive shareware which must be registered if 
  62. used for other than evaluation. Registering the software will
  63. remove all nag screens, remove the delay and make it's use legal.
